Working on a relatively steep site and the fact that the southern border is shared with a National Park, the design took a sensible approach. The side spaces were at lower levels with care taken to limit the excavation. From the road, these levels are hidden by a high wall against northern landscape – your personalized angular design achieves a natural result. Perforations strategically positioned within the wall of the landscape, allow natural light and ventilation entering the room and beyond but the glazing is set back and therefore hidden.
